Shiell & Associates is a nationwide recruiting firm dedicated to placing high-caliber sales, management and executive professionals in the pharmaceutical and medical sales industries. Our mission is to develop long-term relationships with our clients and candidates and to be recognized as an ethical and professional recruiting organization.  We continuously strive to match the right candidates with our client companies in order to secure successful, long-term placements. HISTORY

Shiell & Associates was established by Don Shiell in 1967.  Don’s past experience as National Sales Manager for Hoechst Pharmaceutical Company (now Aventis) gave him a thorough understanding of the hiring needs within the pharmaceutical industry, and he has since developed Shiell & Associates into a premier search firm with primary emphasis on placing sales representatives, sales managers, and marketing executives within the pharmaceutical and medical industries.  Some of their clients include:

In 1979 Shiell & Associates became a Charter Member of First Interview Network, which has grown into the world’s largest recruiter network in both domestic and international placements through its 200-plus affiliate offices.  This worldwide recruiting organization will place over 10,000 candidates with various companies around the globe this year. 

Marc Quiroz came to Shiell & Associates as a consultant in 2001.  His background included 16 years of sales and management experience in the pharmaceutical and surgical industries, and he has used his knowledge to help many candidates break into pharmaceutical and medical sales.  In 2002, Marc bought the agency and has since opened a satellite office in Tampa, Florida.
